MILAN — Giorgio Armani’s partnership with the German football team FC Bayern München is entering the next round. For fall, the players and team officials will again wear the Italian designer’s clothes for all official events, as part of the three-year deal inked in May 2014.

The new uniform — from the designer’s Made to Measure line — includes a navy blue suit in wool and cashmere, as well as a two-button jacket, vest and pants without pleats, and a white cotton shirt. Paying tribute to the club’s official colors, the uniform also includes a red V-neck sweater in cashmere and a red tie, complete with black lace-up shoes and a chocolate-brown duster coat.

As in previous seasons, Armani will also provide the German team with accessories, from sunglasses to a midnight blue trolley bag, beauty case and small leather messenger. A deep blue sporty leather backpack was added to the equipment.

This is not the first venture for Armani in sports. The designer outfitted London’s Chelsea FC from 2007 to 2009 and will dress the Italian Olympic and Paralympic team for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
