Robert Downey Jr. and Robert Duvall star in The Judge, a film which is part courtroom drama and part father-son bonding. Downey is a cocky but talented defense attorney who has an estranged relationship with his father (Duvall). When his mother dies and he is forced to return home, his father is soon after a suspect in a murder investigation. Both Downey and Duvall do phenomenal jobs acting in this movie, namely Downey for reminding audiences that he can do more than just play a guy in a suit of metal. The only issue I had with the film was the length, which could have worked better by the omission of some scenes or characters from the film's plot. Yet overall, I did enjoy The Judge and found it to be an adequate way to spend 2+ hours. For a more detailed review, see the video above.
